I cannot recommend Kevin and Gunderson Soft Wash LLC highly enough. I did significant research on the soft wash process and interviewed several technicians before choosing Kevin. It was clear from our first call that he deeply understands the science behind the process and is personally vested in the outcome.
Before he even stepped on a ladder, Kevin spent a massive amount of time preparing the site. This included pre-wetting the surrounding landscaping to protect my decorative shrubs, flowers, and lawn.
My 18-year-old shingles were structurally sound but looked dark and dingy. After Kevin’s work, the authentic color and texture of the shingles returned instantly. The results were immediate and truly uplifting. He also cleared stubborn lichen and algae off my synthetic-wood privacy fence, which now looks brand new.
One of the most striking moments was watching the cola-colored water come out of the downspouts. It was visual proof of the dead mildew, moss, and algae being safely dissolved.
As I examined the runoff, there were virtually no granules from the shingles, just the minuscule amount you would see after a normal rain. This gave me total peace of mind regarding the integrity of my roof.
Beyond the aesthetics, this was a smart financial move. Those dark tiger stripes were signs of biological entities literally feasting on the limestone in my shingles. By killing that growth, Kevin likely added years of structural integrity to my roof, keeping significant money in my pocket.

"I was looking for someone who could take on a massive project, we needed to soft wash 22 three story homes siding & shingles along with their attached decks and we also needed the massive number of sidewalks throughout the community pressure washed. The siding and roofs were relatively new although they had developed green in some places, but the sidewalks had been neglected for several years.
Kevin was incredibly responsive during our selection process and was able to build a quote to fit out needs. Once selected, Kevin arrived on time and communicated throughout the process so we knew when things would happen. Kevin also followed up and proactively reached out after he completed to ensure we were satisfied and even returned to touch up a few areas which on a job our size was bound to happen.
